Melting point: 77 – 86° C.

It's compatible with good concentrations of essential oils, an ideal combination for making high-quality, long-lasting aromatherapy candles. Due to its high melting point, this wax, when combined in small quantities with other low-melting point waxes (such as rapeseed or soy), gives a very pleasant and professional-looking waxy finish to pillar or molded candles. Virgin rice wax, being non-deodorized, has very soft and pleasant aldehyde aromas.

Properties of rice bran wax:
Rice bran wax is a yellowish-white to orange-brown substance
Rice wax consists primarily of fatty acid esters of higher fatty alcohols, palmitic acid and ceryl alcohol.
The wax contains free fatty acids, squalene and phospholipids.
The wax content is usually above 96%.
The melting point is between 77 and 86 °C
the saponification number is between 75 and 120
The acidity value is between 2 and 8 and the iodine value is around 10 - 25.
Rice bran wax can be easily deodorized and bleached.
