Natural, granular palm wax. It allows for highly distinctive effects and fascinating crystallizations. It is specifically formulated for pouring into containers, allowing it to adhere perfectly to the sides of the container. Used for making candles, palm wax has a significant advantage: the large wax crystals absorb a greater percentage of the fragrance and release it evenly during burning. Palm wax is known for being an excellent material for candle making. It is hard and has high shrinkage, making it easy to demould and color. It reflects light well and has a highly attractive ivory-like surface. We have developed our own palm wax production techniques, where we can break down the constituents of crude palm oil and blend them to produce candle waxes, each with its own basic characteristics of melting point, hardness, burning time, and opacity, while remaining 100% natural palm wax. Our palm wax blend has a beautiful surface finish, excellent burning qualities, and color stability. Our specially blended 100% palm wax is easy to work with. It offers exciting possibilities to meet your exacting quality standards as well as your expressions of beauty and style. It's a plant-based wax sourced from sustainable and renewable sources, clean-burning and environmentally friendly. REACH compliant, 100% vegan, and suitable for food contact.
- Heat the wax to a minimum of 65°C and a maximum of 90°C, stirring until completely melted. Do not heat above 93°C: the wax may discolor after pouring. Always use a thermometer to monitor the temperature, and never leave wax on the stove unattended.
- The addition of any additives (other than colors and fragrances) can be done at any stage of dissolution.
- Fragrances and colors should be added to completely melted wax, stirring gently. If adding fragrances, we recommend not exceeding 10% by weight.
- For optimal results, we recommend casting the wax at a temperature between 85 and 90°C.
- The container into which the wax is poured must be preheated, especially if the ambient temperature is below 20°C.
- After casting, we recommend waiting approximately 48 hours before lighting.
