Cargill C3 White Soy Wax Flakes for Container Candles. Cargill. 1, 5, and 10 kg packages. NatureWax C-3 is an all-natural soy-based wax. It has a creamy, matte finish and is preferred for its adhesion to glass, minimizing wet spots. It has little to no frosting and is a one-pour, additive-free wax. An excellent all-around container wax, it releases fragrance well, works with powdered and liquid dyes, and holds color well. C-3 is known and loved for being simple and producing consistent results. C-3 is Cargill's most popular wax blend for all types of container candles. It has extreme bloom resistance, contracts slightly, and produces a beautiful appearance with a single pour. It is creamy white in color and has a pleasant scent. Dermatologically tested. Recommended fragrance load: 6-8%

This wax is packaged in flakes, making it easy to work with, measure, and handle. To achieve the best finish with this wax, we recommend pouring at 71ºC (±5ºC). However, you may need to perform further testing to find the best pouring temperature for your conditions. Nature Wax C-3 has good adhesion to containers, which can be improved, especially during the winter months, by preheating the jars. For this soy wax, we recommend preheating the jars before pouring for a better finish. Also, allow the wax to cool slowly.

TIP: After the wax has completely melted, we recommend reducing the heat so it cools to 50°C-70°C. This will reduce cracking and discoloration.
Melting point: +45°C.
Maximum heating temperature: +71.1ºC - 93.3°C
Recommended casting temperature: ± 48.9°C±73.8 °C.

Allow to harden for 2 weeks. A single filling is usually sufficient, but it shrinks slightly once solidified. Good adhesion to the container walls can be achieved by heating the containers before pouring and allowing them to solidify slowly.
